We’re here to help you grow in your relationship with the Lord,
and then it’s time to reach out - to GO! Reach outside the
church walls to the community and MAKE A DIFFERENCE in
this world with the gifts God has given you.

Together we will GO! and this world will never be the same…

We began meeting in 1994 with a drive to create a church that was alive in the community and able to make a difference in people’s lives. We have been growing ever since! Our beliefs are simple:

• We have all messed up and don’t deserve Heaven.
• Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived, died, and was resurrected 2000 years ago so we could be forgiven and go to Heaven.
• God has given us the Bible, an infallible book, to understand our purpose and to know how to live.
• We will be judged by God one day and will fall short unless we accept the grace and forgiveness Jesus died for us to have.

We welcome you to join us on Sunday morning and find out what it means to be cared about.  Will you find hypocrites at New Horizon? We’re sure you will - and many other types of sinners.  We are all on a journey to become better people.  New Horizon Christian Church is here to provide an inviting place to take that journey.

Elements of Salvation:

Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is the most important decision you will ever make.  This is the Bible's answer to the question "What must I do to be saved from eternal death and separation from God?"

1. Hear the truth of Christ - Romans 10:17 - Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.
2. Believe in Christ - Mark 16:16 - Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
3. Recognize you are a sinner and repent of your sin - Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Acts 2:38 - Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven.
4. Confess Christ as Lord and Savior - Matthew 10:32-33 - Whoever acknowledges Me before men,  I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven.  But whoeverdisowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven.
5. Be Baptized into Christ - Romans 6:3-4 - Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Jesus Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
