In June of 2001 Chris and Todd Owen completed another survey in the Sob language group near Usino. From this survey it was determined that the Sob would make a viable language project. A three day Translation Awareness Workshop was held at Usino village (Bantik) in September. Then in October of 2001 Chris and Lori first went to Igoi village to begin learning the Sob language. In July 2007 the book of Jonah was dedicated. This was the first book of scripture in the Sob language. They are currently working on the gospel of Luke. |
