Building Use Policy
Rental Fees

- The purpose of use including any event content must NOT be in conflict with New Horizon Christian Church’s (NHCC’s) mission and core values.
- Rental of the NHCC facility will be limited to approved facility areas. Other areas in the building may be scheduled for other purposes at the same time.
- NHCC Staff and Leadership Team have access to all rooms in the building at any time.
- Rental Request & Approval
- Renters must complete the Building Use Policy and Rental Agreement Form and submit to the NHCC office.
- The request will be reviewed by the Building Team and a response will be given within 48 hours.
- If approved, the renters will complete the Liability Release Form and return it with a copy of their group insurance.
- Payment is due prior to the start of the event.
Building Use Policy
- A member of NHCC’s staff will be assigned to your event. You will either be issued a key or the staff member will unlock the facility for you. You are responsible for locking the building and turning off all lights when you leave.
- Renters are responsible to make sure that all rooms are left in the same state they found them in. Do not move any major furniture. If you move tables, chairs, etc, please wipe them down and then put them back.
- Absolutely no alcohol, smoking, fighting, horseplay or gambling allowed in the building, parking lot or surrounding land.
- There is no personal use of the NHCC equipment. The worship equipment may not be removed or used. Gym rental does not include the use of the stage, sound or tech equipment unless specifically requested and approved. Please stay off the stage unless it was a part of the rental agreement.
- No church equipment may be removed from the building unless specifically requested and approved.
- Please do not use any of the church’s supplies-they are not included in the rental.
- Renters are responsible for minors in attendance. Renters must stay in their reserved areas and use the corresponding restrooms only. It is strongly suggested that minors be supervised at all times with at least 2 adults for each 8 minors (under 18 years old) and no adult is to be alone with a minor at any time.
- NHCC reserves the right to cancel or change this agreement at any time due to ministry activities.
- Please take any items with you that you brought in. If you would like to donate items, please contact the church first-do not leave items behind.
- No food or drink in carpeted rooms.
- Do not adjust the building temperature.
- If something is broken or damaged report it to the office staff. If it requires immediate attention, please contact Ernie Stone (309) 825-3358 or Ed Lopez (309) 275-5310..
Rental Fees
- Hourly room rental and single use events will be assigned based on requested rooms.
- A $100 cleaning fee will be added to the rental for a deep clean according to CDC guidelines. This fee can be waived if the renter agrees to complete the cleaning process themselves and it is approved by the building team. If the area is not cleaned as agreed, the group will be charged the cleaning fee.
- Multi-use events will be determined by the Building Team based on the number of participants and frequency of event.
